The Thunder Basin Bolts's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 46-33 victory over Sturgis Brown. The win was just what Thunder Basin needed coming off of a 67-35 loss in their prior contest.
Kambel Cox was her usual excellent self, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Reece Mcgrath, who scored seven points along with five steals.
The win got Thunder Basin back to even at 6-6. As for Sturgis Brown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thunder Basin will take on Natrona County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Natrona County is ranked 42nd, while Thunder Basin is ranked 28th). As for Sturgis Brown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lead-Deadwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
