Natalie Moreaux made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katelyn Moreaux, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Shayla Gonzalez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Mansfield Legacy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
