Walker White went supernova for Little Rock Christian Academy, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Little Rock Christian Academy also got help from Tate Collins who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.
Little Rock Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-7 Central and 3-9 Russellville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 28.1% over those games). As for Van Buren, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Rock Christian Academy will take on Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Russellville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Little Rock Christian Academy is ranked sixth). As for Van Buren, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
