Heritage and Halls are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Heritage Mountaineers will head out on the road to face off against the Halls Red Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
Last Tuesday, Heritage was the victim of a tough 67-41 loss at the hands of Sevier County. Heritage has struggled against Sevier County recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Halls pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anderson County. Halls just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Grayson Bishop, who scored 19 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Lane, who scored 9 points.
The losses dropped Heritage to 1-5 and Sevier County to 2-2.
Heritage beat Halls 65-57 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Heritage since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
