As for St. Edward, it has to be hurting after a devastating 55 - 32 defeat at the hands of Walthill last game. All the same, giving senior Jesse Osantowski more carries than the previous game paid off since he ran for 75 yards and punched in two touchdowns. Osantowski has now scored at least one TD in the past five consecutive games.
The last time they met, Riverside really took it to St. Edward, winning 70 - 33. Riverside was able to move the ball a lot more (569 yards compared to 279 yards), a gap St. Edward will be looking to close this time around. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverside since the team will be on St. Edward's home field this time. We'll soon find out whether that makes a difference or not.
