The Allen East Mustangs waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over Ada. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Allen East has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Carson Clum, who scored 20 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Clum is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Brooks, who scored 13 points.
Allen East is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Ada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Allen East will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty-Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty-Benton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Ada, they will head out on the road to face off against Upper Scioto Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
