This season hasn't been kind to The Lake Ridge Eagles, who are still winless after their eighth game. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mansfield Legacy on Friday. Lake Ridge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mansfield Legacy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Although Lake Ridge took the loss, they still got scores from Tre'Quan Murphy and Marcus Hayes.
Lake Ridge's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Mansfield Legacy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Ridge will take on Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waxahachie presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake Ridge in Texas (Waxahachie is ranked 36th, while Lake Ridge is ranked 479th). As for Mansfield Legacy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
