The Pymatuning Valley Lakers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Harding 64-14 on the road. With that win, Pymatuning Valley brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.
Pymatuning Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leah DeMoss led the charge by scoring 19 points along with two steals. DeMoss is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Sadie Paul was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Pymatuning Valley and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Harding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pymatuning Valley will square off against Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Pymatuning Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Harding, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
