Viewmont made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,366 from 7,450. The improvement came about via a 54-0 victory over the Vikings last week.
Taylorsville's Tristinn Martinez and Emilio Salvador have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 5A Region 2 in both passing and receiving yards. Martinez has thrown for 861 yards this season, while Salvador, a 5-foot-6 receiver, has 28 catches for 380 yards. Trevon Johnson from Hunter leads the league in rushing with 601 yards.
