The victory got Thunder Basin back to even at 6-6. As for Natrona County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Thunder Basin took their win against Natrona County when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 59-35. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Natrona County's Megan Hagar, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
