The Stratford Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodmont. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (56), Stratford still had to take the loss.
Defeat or not, Stratford got some senior leadership from Zanquel Baldwin who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and Nizhier Baldwin who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Baldwin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Amari Washington was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Woodmont, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
Stratford and North Myrtle Beach will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
