Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Friendship Christian on Friday. They blew past the Falcons 16-2. The Lion have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Dalton Burgin and Nathaniel Allen did most of the damage at the plate: Burgin scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Allen scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. What's more, Burgin posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Myles Decosimo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

The win got Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill back to even at 2-2. As for Friendship Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
