Claremore Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addey Abott, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Abott hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Rylee Flynn, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Eagle Point Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Claremore Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Eagle Point Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradford Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Claremore Christian is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Mingo Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully Mingo Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 back in December of 2023.
