The Ridgeline Riverhawks had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.5 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 83-9 win over Bear River. Ridgeline has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 26 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Emilee Skinner, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. She also posted eight assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Livingston, who scored 22 points along with three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bear River struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Ridgeline pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Bear River, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will take on Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sky View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Ridgeline is ranked second). As for Bear River, they will be playing at home against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
