Wayne Trace hasn't had much luck against Lincolnview recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. The Wayne Trace Raiders and the Lincolnview Lancers are set to duel. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Last Thursday, Wayne Trace had just enough and edged Ayersville out  3-2.
 Wayne Trace took Ayersville into a fifth set  where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 20-25, 25-18,  15-10.
 Wayne Trace got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Caroline Winans out in front who  had 35  digs and two  aces. Winans is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last six games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Zartman, who  had 14  digs and 30  assists.
 Meanwhile, Lincolnview entered their tilt with Miller City on Saturday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Wildcats.
 The  win  got Wayne Trace back to even at 11-11. As for Lincolnview, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-6.
 Wayne Trace came up short against Lincolnview in their previous matchup  back in August, falling  3-1. Can Wayne Trace avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
