Southwestern recap Nov. 7, 2012
Edwardsville extended the longest winning streak in Southwestern this week by beating East St. Louis, 21-18. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Edwardsville made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 481 from 661. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 21-18 victory over the Flyers last week.
O'Fallon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Todd Porter has thrown for 3009 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Darius Mosely has 69 catches for 1126 yards. Kentrail Moran leads the league in rushing with 700 yards.
East St. Louis fell 21-18 to Matt Martin's team in the closest game of the week.
