4A Region I District 4 recap Nov. 7, 2012
Hereford moved up to 377 from 408 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region I District 4. The Whitefaces climbed the ranks as a result of topping Plainview 42-20.
Frenship extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lubbock, 51-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Tigers.
Frenship's Trevor Lloyd and Bryndan Arredondo have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lloyd has thrown for 136 yards this season, while Arredondo has two catches for 91 yards. Daniel Miller from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 164 yards.
A big matchup in 4A Region I District 4 this week will be when Plainview takes on Brad Davis' team. Marcos Hinojos' team is currently in fourth, while the Tigers are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when the Bulldogs and Frenship face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Plainview comes in having scored 27 this season, while the Tigers have scored 179. The Bulldogs scored 20 points last week as they fell to Hereford.
