The Shenandoah Zeps will head out on the road to challenge the Marietta Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Shenandoah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Shenandoah strolled past Buckeye Trail with points to spare, taking the game 52-34.
Shenandoah's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadence Noll, who scored ten points along with four steals. Noll is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emmie House, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Marietta came up short against Warren on Thursday and fell 57-46.
Shenandoah has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Marietta, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
Shenandoah beat Marietta 55-48 in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shenandoah since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
