Friendly's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khadir Johnson, who scored 16 points. Ammanuel Bisrat was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Suitland's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Friendly, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Suitland will head out on the road to square off against Eleanor Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Suitland is coming into the contest with three straight victories on the road, so Eleanor Roosevelt is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Friendly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Potomac at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Friendly is ranked 198th, while Potomac is ranked 183rd).
