The Marshall Rams lost against the Churchill Chargers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Marshall's tough 42-21 loss to Churchill might stick with them for a while. Marshall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Churchill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harold Releford, who rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Hunter Pavlicek, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Churchill, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Marshall will head out on the road to face off against SA Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Churchill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
