After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Private, Maurepas was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Family Christian Flames a 20-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-0 last Tuesday.

Maurepas' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Family Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Maurepas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-5 loss against Denham Springs on the 26th. As for Family Christian, they will square off against Madison Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Prep Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Family Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
