Baseball Recap: North Moore Comes Up Short

North Moore lost against Southeast Alamance last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Moore Mustangs lost 9-3 to the Southeast Alamance Stallions. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Moore saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Carre, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Carre also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

North Moore's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southeast Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, North Moore will head out to square off against Jordan-Matthews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Moore is facing Jordan-Matthews at the right time seeing as Jordan-Matthews is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Southeast Alamance, they will host Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast Alamance's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Eastern Alamance's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
