Klein Forest not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 16, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the South Houston Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Hailey Johnson paced Klein Forest's offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson got some help from Ryleigh Culberson and her 17 assists. Culberson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Klein Forest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for South Houston, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Klein Forest has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Beaumont United on the 30th. As for South Houston, they will head out to face off against Sam Rayburn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Texans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
