McKinley saw some tournament action  on Thursday. They came up short against  the Coventry Comets, falling  3-0. The Red Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

 Leading Coventry to victory were  Ava Burkhart and  Piper Philips.  Burkhart  had nine  digs and four  aces, while  Philips  had six  digs. That's the most  aces  Burkhart has posted since back in September.  Rylee Hillyard also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  aces of the season.
McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Coventry, their record now sits at 16-7.
 McKinley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coventry, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  loss against Beaumont School on the 20th.
