Despite the defeat, the Eagles saw an underclassman step up: Will Jones dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Jones is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.
Haywood Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for the Eagles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
