Laurann Burrell Game Report: vs Gainesville

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Laurann Burrell stepped things up a notch to give Commerce the 'W'. Burrell scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long.

Coming up, Burrell and Commerce will take on Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Commerce has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
