Woodland Regional's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dean Accetura led the charge by scoring 27 points along with six assists and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Accetura has scored at least 25% of Woodland Regional's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Stepputtis, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Woodland Regional's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Oxford, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
