Make it seven blowout wins for the Decatur Seahawks this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Washington 74-35 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-17.
It was another big night for Davin Chandler, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie Buxbaum, who scored ten points.
Decatur's victory was their 16th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points per game. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Decatur will head out on the road to square off against Crisfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wicomico at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
