Mill Valley extended the longest winning streak in Kaw Valley this week by beating Schlagle, 43-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Mill Valley took down the Stallions 43-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Turner's dynamic duo of PAUL BERRY and JEREMY JENSEN proved tough for Bishop Miege to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. BERRY threw for 152 yards and one touchdown and JENSEN had 77 yards receiving. ANDRE MCCALLUP helped Turner's passing attack out by catching five balls for 37 yards.
Cole Holloway was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 139 yards as Tonganoxie lost to the Stags. Teammate Shane Levy added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
Jordan Jackson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bonner Springs fell to DeSoto. He completed 13 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 101 yards. Jackson's favorite target this week was Mason Roberts, who caught one pass for 52 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback SKYLER WINDMILLER of Joel Applebee's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1343. He has also thrown 19 touchdowns. On the ground, Basehor-Linwood's Drew Potter has rushed for 858 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ben Johnson. The Basehor-Linwood star has 34 catches for 531 yards.
Lansing made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,320 from 11,584. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 29-14 victory over Washington last week.
