Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kyden Heniger, who posted 18 points along with five assists and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Keshawn Andrews, who scored 15 points and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Jesuit humbled East Bay with a 78-51 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Clearwater better focus on containing Carter Reins and Tyler Caouette as the pair were huge in Jesuit's win. Reins went 8 of 9 en route to 21 points and six rebounds, while Caouette dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Reins' morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Morty Hanlon was another key player, putting up nine points and five assists.
Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Clearwater, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Clearwater has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Jesuit struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Clearwater lost to Jesuit on the road by a decisive 58-41 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Thankfully for Clearwater, Alex Kruska (who went 8 for 14 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
