In what's become a running theme this season, the Dodge County Indians gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-29 victory over Berrien at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-7.
Lyric Green was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Dodge County's points. Another player making a difference was Paige Ingram, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Dodge County's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Berrien, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
Dodge County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berrien, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-37 loss vs. Worth County on the 10th.
