University School of Milwaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  2-0 to the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.

 Lauren Stone paced University School of Milwaukee's offense, picking up six kills. Stone got some help from  Rosie Barksdale and her 14 assists. Stone was also a major player on defense:   she and  she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.
University School of Milwaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Living Word Lutheran, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record  this season.
 After both having extra time off, University School of Milwaukee and Oostburg will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Living Word Lutheran, they have already played their next contest,  a  2-0  victory against Kenosha Christian Life on the 17th.
