Mendon extended the longest winning streak in Saint Joseph Valley this week by beating Climax-Scotts, 28-6. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Hornets.
Mendon took down the Panthers 28-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tyler Harris ran for 250 yards in the win.
Mendon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Eberstein has thrown for 890 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Elijah Klepper has 10 catches for 224 yards. Harris leads the league in rushing with 927 yards.
John Schwartz's team's Harris needs only 73 yards against Muskegon Catholic Central next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
The Hornets led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Climax-Scotts. Harris in the win.
