They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 60-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as First Baptist also won the last time the pair played on Thursday.
First Baptist had a senior duo take command as Levi Borner scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Owen Nelson scored 16 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Boston Johnson , who scored 14 points.
First Baptist now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which is still a better percentage than their 68-287-3 record this season.
First Baptist's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Francis Christian at 6:45 p.m. on December 4th. As for Varsity Opponent, they will face off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
