There's no place like home for the Scotland Christian Academy Saints, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 victory over Thomas Academy on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Scotland Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Scotland Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeffrey St.Onge led the charge by scoring 23 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. St.Onge hasn't dropped below 17 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavon Farmer, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Scotland Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Thomas Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotland Christian Academy will square off against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Calvary Christian is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Thomas Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
