Palo Alto has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsdale took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Palo Alto, who comes in off a win.
Palo Alto never got on the board in their last matchup, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Half Moon Bay last Friday. Palo Alto blew past Half Moon Bay, posting a 61-23 victory at home.
Palo Alto's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Declan Packer, who threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and Jeremiah Madrigal, who gained 138 total yards and two touchdowns. Madrigal's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards. Roman Jacobs made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, Hillsdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They took a 19-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Menlo School.
Erick Waugh put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 254 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Palo Alto's victory on Friday bumped their record up to 3-4. Having lost for the first time this season, Hillsdale fell to 6-1.
