The Manchester Township Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Toms River North 73-55. Winning may never get old, but Manchester Township sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
It was another big night for Devyn Quigley, who dropped a double-double on 41 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Manchester Township's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Nolan, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Manchester Township's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Toms River North, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-5 record last season and are now at 4-9.
Manchester Township will square off against Clearview at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Toms River North won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Toms River South at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Toms River South is ranked 256th, while Toms River North is ranked 248th).
