Crosspointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Neby Yewubneh led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yewubneh has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Quinton Ford, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Crosspointe Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.67 points. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Crosspointe Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Colonial Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Colonial Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mooresville Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
