The Cypress Lake Panthers put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Southwest Florida Christian 48-34. Given Cypress Lake's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Southwest Florida Christian is ranked 561st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cypress Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kylie Anderson, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brigitte Maillakakis, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Cypress Lake has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 4-0 record. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
