After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Farwell, the Bovina Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 victory over Boys Ranch. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bovina also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Bovina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miguel Lopez, who scored 21 points along with four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Yandel Deleon, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and four steals.
Bovina's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Boys Ranch, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Bovina will head out on the road to challenge the Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boys Ranch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Steers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Farwell will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
