The Jeff Davis Yellowjackets couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Toombs County by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jeff Davis of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
