On Friday Gilman take on Athens at 7:00 PM. Gilman are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Athens are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Last Friday, Gilman put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They took the matchup and then some with a 42-6 win over Assumption.
Meanwhile, we expected Athens to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Loyal, and they did. Athens found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 26-54 punch to the gut against Loyal.
Gilman's victory lifted them to 5-1 while Athens's defeat dropped them down to 2-4. We'll see if Gilman's success rolls on or if Athens are able to steal their positive momentum.
