The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (D'Iberville is ranked 128th, while Moss Point is ranked 118th).
Last Saturday, D'Iberville came up short against Picayune and fell 54-42.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Moss Point's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They suffered a rough 66-46 loss at the hands of Greene County.
D'Iberville has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Moss Point, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
D'Iberville strolled past Moss Point when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for D'Iberville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
