Avoca-Prattsburgh scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Campbell-Savona 85-44 at home. Avoca-Prattsburgh has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Avoca-Prattsburgh to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dan Stilson, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Jaeden Crowder was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 assists.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Arkport Central/Canaseraga's good fortune finally ran out back in January. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-36 walloping at the hands of Avoca-Prattsburgh. Arkport Central/Canaseraga was down 47-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Avoca-Prattsburgh's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Arkport Central/Canaseraga, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.
Everything went Avoca-Prattsburgh's way against Arkport Central/Canaseraga in their previous meeting back in January as Avoca-Prattsburgh made off with a 60-36 victory.
