In what's become a running theme this season, the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on New Jerusalem Christian Academy with a sharp 59-33 victory. The victory was nothing new for Indian Rocks Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
It was another big night for Will Murphree, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Indian Rocks Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Austin McDonnel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why New Jerusalem Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Miguel Diaz. Despite the final result, he scored ten points.
Indian Rocks Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for New Jerusalem Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
