Hamilton Township found their leader in underclassman Alexis Wooten, who went 8 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 2 assists. Juliana McLaughlin was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Cordelia Watkins and Cheyenne Taylor certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Watkins scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Taylor scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Hamilton Township's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Central Crossing, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton Township will take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Teays Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rangers in Ohio (the Vikings are ranked 124th, while the Rangers are ranked 454th). As for Central Crossing, they will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
