The Fayetteville Lions posted their biggest victory since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They really took it to Dime Box for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-20 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fayetteville has posted against Dime Box since January 17, 2020.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayetteville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cambree Denham, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayme Schley, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Fayetteville pushed their record up to 10-16 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Dime Box, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Coincidentally, Fayetteville and Dime Box will both be playing McDade the next time they take the court. Dime Box will host McDade at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Fayetteville will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
