The Plainview Indians won the last time they faced the Madill Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Plainview narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Madill 32-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Plainview.
Emilee Hedger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring ten points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Abby Chaney, who scored six points.
Despite the defeat, Madill saw an underclassman step up: La'miyah Brown scored 16 points.
Plainview's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Madill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Plainview won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ada at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Ada focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. Madill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seminole on January 4, 2024. Seminole comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
