When it comes to explaining why Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond lost, one person who can't be blamed is Claire Seal. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. The matchup was Seal's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Herschberger, who scored 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for St. Anthony, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will be home for the holidays to greet Unity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Unity Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. St. Anthony will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Flora at 10:00 a.m. on January 6, 2024.
