This season hasn't been kind to the Nuview Bridge Knights, who are still winless after their 16th match. They lost to Santa Rosa Academy at home by a decisive 62-48 margin on Thursday. Nuview Bridge lost against the Rangers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 85-13 score last time.
Santa Rosa Academy was led to victory by Chris Jones and James Johnson. Jones scored 15 points along with eight assists and five steals, while Johnson scored 21 points along with three steals. Jones is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Taylor, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Nuview Bridge's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Santa Rosa Academy, the win got them back to even at 14-14.
Nuview Bridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Rosa Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
